This practice was built by a disabled, neurodivergent practitioner for people whose bodies and brains get treated as afterthoughts everywhere else. You don't have to earn accommodations here. They're already waiting for you.
The space itself
- Low-stimulation, temperature-controlled rooms in quiet rural Morristown
- No fluorescent lighting, with lighting choices available
- Unscented by default: no diffusers, essential oils, scented candles, or fragranced products unless you ask for them
- Quiet or low ambient sound, your pick
- Blankets, bolsters, and positioning options for every body
- Electrolytes and snacks on hand for POTS and blood sugar needs
Your body's needs
- You'll never be asked to lie flat if your body can't tolerate it. Every modality adapts to seated, reclined, or side-lying positions.
- Bodywork pressure is calibrated for hypermobile, fragile, or reactive tissue, by a practitioner who lives with hEDS herself.
- Sessions flex to your energy: shorter, gentler, or rescheduled without penalty when a flare or crash hits.
- Breaks, water, snacks, bathroom trips, and position changes are always yours to take. No permission needed.
Your brain's needs
- Communicate verbally, in writing, or a mix. If you go nonverbal mid-session, we adjust.
- Stimming, fidgeting, sunglasses, headphones, and comfort objects are all welcome in session.
- Processing time is built in. Nobody rushes you to answer or cuts you off mid-thought.
- Appointment reminders by text and email, buffer time for late arrivals, and zero shame around time blindness.
- If the intake form is too much, fill in what you can and tell us the rest out loud. If online booking is hard, contact us and we'll schedule for you.
Distance and access
- Virtual sessions over Zoom or phone for BQH, hypnosis, consultations, and distance Reiki
- Free virtual events year-round, camera optional and bed-friendly
- Apothecary products ship regionally with full ingredient transparency
Money as an access barrier
If financial barriers are what's between you and care, reach out. We're committed to making healing available and willing to explore options together. Free community events run all year, and the grace cancellation system means a flare never costs you money twice.
Honest limits
Some physical spaces and modalities have inherent limitations, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than promise perfection. If you have a specific access concern, bring it to us and we'll figure out what's possible together.
Tell us what you need. We'll make it work. Your comfort matters more than our convenience.
